Building Families on Biblical Principles

Parenting Conference

April 20-22, 2012

Dr. Bruce Ware, Professor of Christian Theology at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and author of numerous books, including Big Truths for Little Hearts: Teaching and Learning the Greatness of God, will present a weekend of Biblical principles for parenting.  Break-out sessions with Dr. Ware and his wife will focus on motherhood, fatherhood, and how parents can build their children up to become young men and women of God.  The cost is $20 per person which includes Friday dessert, Saturday breakfast, and a copy of one of Dr. Ware's books for each family.  Register through our website at www.cornerstonepasco.org and invite friends and neighbors to join us!

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY: A meeting for all children's ministry workers will be held Monday, Feb. 6th at 6:30 pm at the church.  Anyone interested in helping with this fun and rewarding ministry is invited to attend or talk to John Thela.

COURAGEOUS: Our men's ministry Bible study kicks off this Sat., Feb. 11th at 7:30 am.  All Cornerstone men and their guests are invited to join us--just bring some food to share.  Download a sample lesson here.

CHILI COOK-OFF AND GAME NIGHT!  Join us on February 19th at 5:30 pm for food and fun at our church-wide chili cook-off and game night.   Sign up is underway so start working on those prize-winning recipes!

WILD GAME DINNER: The Pasco Baptist Association's Annual Wild Game Dinner for Men and Boys is Sat., Feb. 25th at 5 pm.  Tickets are $25 and you must order them by next Sunday, Feb. 12th to guarantee a seat. Contact Jeff Peake for more information.
