SUPER BOWL PARTY TONIGHT: The men’s ministry is hosting a Super Bowl party tonight at 5:00 pm at the Peake’s. There is a sign up-sheet and directions in the foyer. Hot dogs, chicken strips, and snacks will be provided; guests should bring snacks or desserts. Wives are welcome to join us!

HAITI EARTHQUAKE RELIEF: Gifts earmarked for disaster relief can be sent to the Florida Baptist Convention at 1230 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32207. Additionally, individuals can make contributions and get disaster relief updates through the Convention's website at www.flbaptist.org.

CHURCH-WIDE PRAYER: Our new Sunday night activities kicked off with last week’s get acquainted dinner. Our next event will be next Sunday evening at 6 p.m. when we gather together to pray for the many needs of our church and community.

LEADER MEETING: There will be a meeting for all ministry team leaders next Sunday, January 24th at 4:30 p.m. prior to the prayer meeting. We will be sharing the new church calendar of events, and implementing our Vision for 2010 and beyond.

Be sure to review the missions materials you are provided with throughout the year, and consider your own commitment to sharing the Gospel – by going and by continuing to give in a meaningful way.

SUNDAY NIGHTS ARE CHANGING! Stay tuned for more information on exciting new church-wide Sunday evening events.

WEEKLY MINISTRY SCHEDULE:
Sunday School classes for all ages meet Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. The adult class meets at 8:30 a.m. for food and fellowship. Join us beginning next week for a new series on the Baptist Faith and Message – the doctrinal statement of our church.

Children’s Church is for ages 4 – 8. Children are dismissed from the service prior to the sermon and may be picked up at the classroom after the service.

Church-wide prayer and Bible study, every Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. Join us for a time of prayer and a study of the Gospel of John. Child care is provided.

Children in Action, a missions program for children, grades K–5 meets Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m.

DRIVEN, our middle school and high school youth group meets Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m.

CCG, a college-age Bible study group meets Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this exciting effort to support our missionaries and help spread the Gospel around the world. Our current giving total is $ 1,129 and our goal is $1,500.
