Today is an exciting day at Cornerstone as our new Sunday School and Children’s Church programs began. If you missed it, Sunday School begins at 9 a.m. and includes classes for children, youth, and adults. Our worship service now begins at 10 a.m. and includes Children’s Church for ages 4 -8. Join us next week for these new learning opportunities!

Fellowship Meal and Business Meeting Tonight: Join us this Sunday night at 6 p.m. for our church-wide fellowship meal and quarterly business meeting. All members, bring a dish or two to share according to the following:

Last names K – R: Dessert

Last names S – Z: Vegetable side dish

You can pick up financial reports and minutes this morning to review prior to tonight’s meeting.

New Fellowship Night! To provide more opportunity for fellowship and prayer and to better highlight communion, we are creating a special service for the third Sunday night of each month. In addition to celebrating communion together, there will be time for special music, testimonies and prayer. Plan to be with us on Sunday night, March 16^th as we kick-off this new event.

Ladies, “What SHAPEs you?” Cornerstone’s Women’s Ministry Spring Retreat will be held Friday, March 14^th from 6 – 9 p.m and sign-up begins this Sunday. Watch the blog and bulletin for further information. You won’t want to miss it!

Youth News: Our youth group is planning its summer activities. To help enable all youth to participate, donations are welcome. The group will receive payment for collecting empty Dasani water bottles and are providing a place for you to deposit all your extra change. Support them!

WEEKLY MINISTRY SCHEDULE:

Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults meet on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m.

Our Children’s Church program for age 4 – 5^th grade meets during preaching time on Sunday mornings. The program is designed to teach children about worship and equip them to join their parents in the service as soon as possible.

Church-wide Bible study and prayer on Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m. Pastor Walls is continuing a study of Ecclesiology by looking at the subject of worship. Please join us for this important time of corporate prayer and study.

Cornerstone Youth: Middle school and high school students meet Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m.

A Women’s Bible Study currently meets Fridays at 9:45 a.m. at the church. Kelly Trill is leading a study of "7 Words to Change Your Family" by James McDonald. Nursery is provided. To meet the needs of others, this study will be repeated on a week night beginning later this month.

Sermons To Go: Recordings of Pastor Walls’ weekly sermons and most Wednesday night Bible studies are available for a donation of $2. Complete a request form and submit your payment at the back table. Your CDs will be provided the following Sunday. Sermons are also now available to listen to or download at our church blog.

New Member Class Today! A second New Member Class will be held this afternoon from 2 to 6 p.m. at the church. This class is for anyone planning to join Cornerstone, and for those seeking more information about our doctrine and philosophy of ministry. Remember, you must attend this class if you desire to be voted in as a member at next week’s business meeting. If you haven’t yet signed up, please let us know you will be attending.

This short survey lets us know about your experience, skills and interests so we can plug you into the right ministry. Last Call for the Valentine’s Dinner: Don’t miss the Valentine’s Dinner for parents and couples at the church on February 15th at 6:30 p.m. The dinner is presented by Cornerstone’s Kids in the Rock and Youth groups. Nursery will be provided and the dinner is free but you must sign up by February 13^th. Get your invitation Sunday at the table in the foyer.
