FELLOWSHIP GROUPS STARTING NOVEMBER 2^ND!

Cornerstone announces a new small group program that will begin meeting in designated homes in November. Fellowship groups are designed to provide the intimacy, accountability, and outreach opportunities our church needs. They will meet the first and third Sunday night of each month, and will provide a time of getting acquainted, Bible study and discussion, and outreach to the unchurched. We desire that every member of Cornerstone participate. Sign-ups will begin in October.

CHURCH – THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT PLACE! Wednesday nights are even more special now that Children in Action is here! Children in kindergarten through 5^th grade learn about missions, make crafts, and have fun in their own program while Mom and Dad enjoy prayer time and Bible study with Pastor Brian. Everything kicks off at 6:45 p.m. each week.

IT’S WORK DAY! Another church work day is scheduled for this Saturday, September 20^th from 8 a.m. to noon. We still have painting and many other odd jobs that need done. Please come out and help us be good stewards of the facility God has blessed us with.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: The adult Sunday School class has begun a new series providing an overview of the entire Bible. You’ll learn about the authors, themes, and highlights of every book from a variety of teachers. Join us for this fun and informative time each Sunday at 9 a.m.

Our Annual Business Meeting will commence immediately following the meal. Copies of items for tonight’s agenda are available this morning at the table in the foyer.

Sunday, August 31st Announcements

THE EXCITEMENT STARTS WEDNESDAY! Our new Wednesday night children’s program, Children in Action begins Sept. 5^th. All children in grades K – 5 are invited to join the excitement from 6:45 to 8 p.m. each week. They’ll learn about missionaries and sharing Jesus with their friends, and have lots of fun. For more information or to support this new ministry, contact Lynn Turner.

BAPTISMS will be held this afternoon, August 31^st at 2 p.m. at the home of Doug and Linda Norris, 12530 Kitten Trail in Hudson. All members are encouraged to join in the celebration as these individuals demonstrate their faith in Christ through the ordinance of baptism.
