The excitement is building for the kickoff of our FELLOWSHIP GROUPS on November 2^nd. There is still space in most groups and several couples and individuals have not yet signed up. Remember -- these groups will be the focal point for relationships and evangelism at Cornerstone, so every member of Cornerstone should be involved. You must sign up today or next Sunday.

A CALL TO YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS: You need to get involved in helping with the weekly cleaning of the building. Couples are welcome or make it really fun and serve together as a group (you can top it off with lunch or dinner!). Please contact Sandy Moyer or Tom Flanigan to join the team.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Cornerstone’s New Member Class will be offered on Sunday, November 23rd. You needn’t join if you attend but attendance is required prior to membership.

HELP NEEDED! We are in need of additional people to assist with weekly cleaning of the building. Individuals, families, or groups are welcome and the more help we have, the less often you will be needed. Please contact Sandy Moyer or Tom Flanigan to join the team.

FELLOWSHIP GROUP SIGN-UP STARTS TODAY!

Our fellowship groups are designed to provide the intimacy, accountability, and outreach opportunities our church needs. They will meet the first and third Sunday night of each month, and will provide a time of getting acquainted, Bible study and discussion, and outreach to unchurched friends, neighbors, and co-workers. These groups will be the focal point for relationships and evangelism at Cornerstone so we want every member of Cornerstone to get involved. Our groups will start November 2nd.

Sign-up sheets for five different meeting locations will be available in the foyer following the service, and someone will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Our monthly FELLOWSHIP MEAL will be held this evening at 6 p.m. This will be the final fellowship meal for Marcia McIntyre, who has coordinated our meals since before we were a church. Please come and thank Marcia for her service and enjoy some barbecue with your church family. Be sure to bring a complementary dish or two to share according to the following:

Sunday, September 28th Announcements

FELLOWSHIP GROUPS STARTING NOVEMBER 2^ND!

Last week we announced our new small group program, to begin meeting in designated homes in November. Our next monthly Fellowship Meal will be held next Sunday, Oct. 5^th at 6 p.m. This will be our final monthly meal (we’re switching to once a quarter), so please make plans to be here for a great time of fellowship and relaxation. Please bring a dish or two to share:

HAPPY NEW YEAR! A new church year begins on October 1^st. Be sure to pray for God’s guidance and blessing on all our ministries and thank Him for our leaders and all those faithfully serving. May God use Cornerstone mightily to preach, reach, and teach in the coming year.

Church – The Wednesday Night Place! Wednesday nights are even more special now that Children in Action is here! Children in grades K - 5 learn about missions, make crafts, and have lots of fun in their own program while Mom and Dad enjoy prayer time and Bible study with Pastor Brian. Everything kicks off at 6:45 p.m. each week. Bring the whole family and let’s make church the Wednesday night place!
