FOUNDATION 2010:

BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE

Cornerstone’s Foundation 2010 stewardship campaign is well underway. Foundation 2010 will impact every part of our church as we seek to build families, finances, and faithfulness for Cornerstone’s future. The first phase of the campaign is to pay off the church’s debt. Give your gift, over and above your regular giving, by designating it on your regular envelope. If we are all faithful, God can eliminate our debt in a matter of a few short weeks.

GET READY FOR AN EXCITING WEEKEND!

Heather Payne, founding member of Point of Grace is coming to Cornerstone. The weekend begins with a meet and greet with Heather on Friday night, April 3^rd at the Water’s Edge Clubhouse. This event is open to all ladies but please sign-up in advance.

Heather will be in concert at the church on Saturday night, April 4^th at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 each or $20 per family. Child care will be provided through age four. Seating is limited and there’s only one more week to get tickets.

Then on Palm Sunday, April 5^th, Heather will be singing in our morning service and we’ll be sharing communion.

What a great build-up to Easter Sunday! Help us spread the word about these events and bring some friends to join us. Pray that God will use it all to build our church for His glory!

FELLOWSHIP MEAL TONIGHT: Don’t miss tonight’s family fellowship meal beginning at 6 p.m. The church will provide drinks and we’re asking that each family please bring a dish or two to share so there’s plenty of food. For more information, see Cindy Flanigan or Pat Oxford.

IMPORTANT BUSINESS MEETING TONIGHT: Our quarterly business meeting is tonight, immediately following our fellowship meal. All members should be present as we discuss our current ministries and future vision, and welcome new members. Financial reports and meeting minutes are available this morning for review prior to tonight’s meeting.

HEATHER PAYNE IN CONCERT! Heather Payne, former lead singer of contemporary Christian group Point of Grace is coming to Cornerstone! She will be in concert on Saturday night, April 4th and will be singing in our Palm Sunday service. To help offset expenses, concert tickets are $5 each or $20 per family. Seating is limited and tickets will go on sale next Sunday, March 8th. Don’t miss this exciting event!

ATTENTION MEN: SIGN-UP TODAY! A men’s breakfast is planned for this Saturday, March 7th at 8 a.m. at the church. We’ll be discussing future mentoring plans and an outing to a Rays’ game. This breakfast is for all members, regular attenders, and their guests. Be sure to sign up today at the table in the foyer.

MOVIE NIGHT IS HERE! Everyone’s invited to a showing of the powerful movie Fireproof on the big screen this Friday, February 27^th at 7 p.m. There will be free popcorn, and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Invite some unchurched friends to join you for this fun and thought-provoking free event.

This class is for anyone interested in becoming a member of Cornerstone, and for those who would just like to find out more about the church. Lunch will be provided.
