STEWARDSHIP CONTINUES: Although our special stewardship month emphasis ends today, the command to be good stewards continues. We praise God for what He has accomplished the last few weeks in the life of our church, and we exhort you to continue being faithful stewards of your time, talents, treasure, and the Truth of the Gospel.

“Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.” – II Cor. 9:13

CAR WASH: Our Children in Action missions program is holding a car wash fund-raiser this Saturday, Oct. 31st from 9 a.m. to noon at the 7-11 at Little Road and Hudson Avenue. Come help them raise funds to attend the Xtreme Missions event in November.

PUMPKIN’ TRUNKIN’: Our annual outreach to children will be held Saturday, Oct. 31st beginning at 5:30 p.m. in our parking lot. There will be games and goodies! Bring some kids or just be here to distribute candy to all the children in our neighborhood. If you’d like to donate candy to the cause, please place it in the box in the foyer.

NEW MEMBER CLASS: Anyone interested in becoming a member or just wanting to learn more about Cornerstone are invited to participate in our next New Member Class on Saturday, November 7th at 10 a.m. Pastor Brian will lead and lunch will be served. Please sign up in advance at the table in the foyer.

Join us each Sunday for donuts and coffee at 8:30 a.m., great Bible study led by Mike Cupp at 9, then challenging sermons from Pastor Brian during the worship service. Be here to learn the Biblical precepts of stewardship, and seek God’s leading as we all commit together to give like never before.

“One should think about us this way – as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Now what is sought in stewards is that one be found faithful.” – I Cor. 4:1-2

FIRE STATION FUN! All children are invited to meet at the New Port Richey Fire Station on Madison Street this Saturday, Oct. 17th at 10:30 a.m. for fun and exciting Fire Prevention Week activities. Everyone will meet afterward for lunch at the McDonald’s at Little Road and River Crossing.

WELCOME TO STEWARDSHIP MONTH: October is stewardship month here at Cornerstone. Each week there will be special lessons from Mike Cupp during Sunday School, followed by challenging sermons from Pastor Brian. We’re asking every member to take advantage of this important teaching by being here for Sunday School and worship every week during the month. Come early to Sunday School for refreshments and fellowship.

Remember, as Pastor Brian has explained, we’re asking every family or individual to commit to give like never before during the month so we can see what God can do with our faithfulness. Pray for God’s guidance as we step out in faith and watch what He can do!
