LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING: Today kicks off our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and the Week of Prayer for international missions. Let’s unite to make a statement about our commitment to Christ and spreading the gospel around the world.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT IS NEW! Join us this Wednesday at 6:45 for the start of a new session of Bible study and church-wide prayer. Pastor Brian will be teaching from the Gospel of John and we’ll be uniting our hearts in prayer for the church and the lost. There are activities for all ages--see the Weekly Ministry Schedule for details.

PARENTS DAY OUT: The children’s ministry will be hosting activities at the church this Saturday, Dec. 5th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. As part of the fun, the children will be sharing Christmas cheer at the nearby Heather Hill Nursing Home.

STEWARDSHIP CONTINUES: Although our special stewardship month emphasis ends today, the command to be good stewards continues. We praise God for what He has accomplished the last few weeks in the life of our church, and we exhort you to continue being faithful stewards of your time, talents, treasure, and the Truth of the Gospel.

“Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.” – II Cor. 9:13

CAR WASH: Our Children in Action missions program is holding a car wash fund-raiser this Saturday, Oct. 31st from 9 a.m. to noon at the 7-11 at Little Road and Hudson Avenue. Come help them raise funds to attend the Xtreme Missions event in November.

PUMPKIN’ TRUNKIN’: Our annual outreach to children will be held Saturday, Oct. 31st beginning at 5:30 p.m. in our parking lot. There will be games and goodies! Bring some kids or just be here to distribute candy to all the children in our neighborhood. If you’d like to donate candy to the cause, please place it in the box in the foyer.

FELLOWSHIP MEAL and ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING TONIGHT – Our fellowship meal begins at 6 p.m. with the business meeting immediately following. Please bring a dish or two to share. Our business meeting will include an important update on church finances, an update on the work of the Vision Team, and the election of ministry leaders for the new church year.

SHEPHERDING A CHILD’S HEART, a great book by Tedd Tripp will be the focus of a parenting class led by Mike Causey on Wednesday nights, beginning Sept. 16th at 6:45 p.m. Parents, grandparents, and anyone with influence in a child’s life will benefit from this study.
