VBS KICK-OFF TONIGHT! Join us tonight at 6 p.m. for our Vacation Bible School opening event. There will be fun, fellowship, and ICE CREAM!  VBS continues Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. - noon.  There’s still time to sign up to help, to donate supplies or funds, and to bring some kids to enjoy the fun. Pray for this ministry and do your part to impact the lives of the children all around us.

GOT SOAP???  Support the children's summer outreach by bringing in bars of soap to add to "Soap Mountain!"  The children will be collecting bars of soap as their summer missions project to send to the children of Honduras who live on "Trash Mountain." Be a part of this outreach and deposit your soap in the container in foyer or, better yet, find a child to give it to who can bring it to KIR or CIA!

OUTREACH BREAKFAST:  The next breakfast for the needy in our community will be Sat., July 3rd at 8 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Port Richey. Come join the Outreach Ministry Team in sharing the love of Christ. See Danny Hayes for more information.

MEN’S BAKE-OFF: July 11th is the date for Cornerstone’s first Men’s Bake-Off.  Judges will select winners in four categories: Best-Looking, Best-Tasting, Most Original, and Over All Worst!  Sign up now!  (Just to be safe, non-participants are asked to bring a dessert or snack to share).

Vacation Bible School 2010 Special Announcement!

Greetings Cornerstone Family. Now that our church building plans are complete, we've set a date for VBS 2010! The kickoff will be Sunday night, June 27th (time TBA) followed by 9-12am gatherings Monday, June 28th through Wednesday, June 30th. This year's theme is Crocodile Dock: Where Fearless Kids Shine God's Light.

VBS is well-known even among unchurched families as a summer gathering for kids to have fun and parents to take a break. With our new lease signed, this is a perfect chance to minister to Cornerstone kiddos and to proclaim the Gospel to the Cornerstone neighborhood.

We will need as many workers as possible and there are open positions in just about every area!! If you're at least a teensy bit interested and you might be free to help, please see Lynn Turner or Tara Anderson to find out more and sign up!!
