2013 LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING FOR INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

SMALL GIFTS; BIG IMPACT! Helping to reach a $175 million goal can be daunting if you’re struggling to make ends meet. But God smiles upon every gift given from a joyful heart, no matter the amount. Every penny given to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is used to help support nearly 5,000 Southern Baptist missionaries and their ministries as they share the Gospel overseas. Last year, your missionaries reported baptizing 266,451 new believers and starting 24,073 new churches. Thus, your gifts have an eternal impact by helping bring many to Christ. 

Only three more opportunities to give toward our church goal of $2,000!

FELLOWSHIP MEAL & BUSINESS MEETING TONIGHT:  Be here at 5:30 p.m. for our quarterly fellowship meal followed by our business meeting.  It will be an exciting meeting as we welcome several new members and adopt our 2014 budget.  Remember to bring a dish or two to share.

This quarter's spiritual emphasis is SERVICE.  Put it into practice!

THANK YOU! A big "thank you" to everyone who helped with this year's Pumpkin Trunkin' and what appeared to be a record turnout!  Pray that God will use it in the lives of our community and our church.

NEW MEMBER CLASS TODAY! All prospective new members or those desiring to learn more about Cornerstone should stay for today's new member class immediately following the service.  A light lunch will be provided. 

THANKSGIVING BASKETS:  Today we begin collecting food to distribute to the needy in our community.  Help us demonstrate the love of Christ by blessing families with a happy Thanksgiving.  See Chris Beaman for details on this important ministry.

BAPTISM CELEBRATION: Next Sunday, Nov. 11th we have the privilege of baptizing several people who have placed their faith in Christ.  Join us at 2 pm at the Schmitz home, 7090 Red Oak Loop, New Port Richey.

HELP A CHILD:  The Children's Ministry will be touring the Florida Baptist Children's Home in Lakeland on Sat., Nov. 17th at 10:00 am. You're invited to accompany us and we're collecting items to share with the orphans that live there. A list of needed items is available at the welcome center in the lobby. See Tara Anderson or John Thela for further details.

LEADER MEETING: All ministry leaders and directors are asked to attend a meeting on Sunday, Nov. 18th at 4:30 pm.  We'll be discussing the 2013 budget and other important topics.
