Sunday, May 11th Announcements

Happy Mother’s Day! Cornerstone wishes a special blessing on all the mothers and grandmothers with us on this special day. May God bless you as you continue to spiritually enrich your families and our church.

IMPORTANT NOTICE for PARENTS and TEACHERS: A short meeting will be held immediately following the worship service next Sunday morning, May 18th, for all parents of children and preschoolers AND for all teachers who work in either of these areas. Childcare will be provided. Please make every effort to be there. Thank you!

Next Sunday night, May 18th is our next Communion Service. Please join us at 6 p.m. for a special time of worship, celebration and reflection on our relationship with Christ and His work on our behalf.

Men’s Golf Outing: All men are invited to join us for a golf outing on the afternoon of Saturday, June 7th at the Magnolia Valley Golf & Country Club. The emphasis is on fun and fellowship so skill is not required! Cost is $15 and you must sign-up in advance at the table in the foyer.

Child Dedication Ceremony: We will be holding a child dedication ceremony on Father’s Day, June 15th during the morning service. This is a special time of commitment for parents and the church. If you’re interested in participating, please list your and your child’s names and email address on the tear-off section of your bulletin and drop it in the offering basket this morning. Pastor Brian will then contact you with more details.

Vacation Bible School is Coming! Cornerstone will hold its first-ever Vacation Bible School in July. Children should plan on attending and workers are still needed. For more information, please see Lynn Turner.
