Sunday, August 31st Announcements

THE EXCITEMENT STARTS WEDNESDAY! Our new Wednesday night children’s program, Children in Action begins Sept. 5^th. All children in grades K – 5 are invited to join the excitement from 6:45 to 8 p.m. each week. They’ll learn about missionaries and sharing Jesus with their friends, and have lots of fun. For more information or to support this new ministry, contact Lynn Turner.

BAPTISMS will be held this afternoon, August 31^st at 2 p.m. at the home of Doug and Linda Norris, 12530 Kitten Trail in Hudson. All members are encouraged to join in the celebration as these individuals demonstrate their faith in Christ through the ordinance of baptism.

Next Sunday, September 7^th at 6 p.m. is our monthly Fellowship Meal, followed by our Annual Business Meeting. Join us for important business including a financial update, the election of leaders, reception of new members, and vision for the future of our church. Please bring a dish or two to share according to the following:

PASTOR BRIAN IS INCAPABLE! Now that we have your attention, please realize that our growing church requires a growing number of servants – Pastor Brian is incapable of doing it all alone. As we approach a new church year, find a place of service and get involved. The nursery, children’s, and missions programs are a few of the areas with the greatest need. We expect every member of Cornerstone to be serving on a regular basis. Remember - we’re all ministers!
