Today we welcome Rev. Rob McKinney, Associate Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Zephyrhills. We pray God uses him mightily to impact us with His Word. At the same time, we congratulate our Pastor, Brian Walls who graduated on Friday from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Doctorate of Philosophy degree. Be sure to pray for Dr. Walls and Kara as they enjoy a much-deserved vacation.

BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE

Our Foundation 2010 campaign continues and we’re very close to the first goal of paying off the church’s debt. Don’t miss the opportunity to have a part in this exciting time in our church’s history. Continue to give, over and above your regular giving, in whatever way you can. More importantly, pray that God uses this time to grow us in faith and maturity and prepare us for future ministry opportunities.

FINANCIAL PEACE: Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University is coming to Cornerstone! This 13-week course helps you apply Biblical principles to managing your finances and will be offered on Wednesday evenings beginning June 10th. A special preview meeting will be held Sunday, May 31^st at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served and you’ll receive an overview of the program and all details. Mark your calendars!

DISASTER RELIEF TRIP: Lots of people along the Gulf coast are still struggling to recover from several devastating hurricanes. Cornerstone will be coordinating a summer relief trip to Lakeshore, Mississippi and youth and adults are invited to participate. Contact John Thela for more information.
