VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

STARTS NEXT WEEK!

Our VBS kicks off next Sunday, June 23rd at 6 pm.  Please sign up today to bring drinks or desserts and be here to welcome our guests.  We still need some supply items so financial donations are welcome--just designate your check or envelope.  Contact Elizabeth Butler for last-minute details and be in prayer for the workers and kids as they learn about God's Amazing Wonders!

GREETERS NEEDED!  Additional greeters are needed to ensure our visitors and members are warmly welcomed each week.  No experience is needed for this important ministry, just a servant's heart.  See Pat Oxford if you can help.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL NEWS

This year's Vacation Bible School is June 24-28 with the kick off on Sunday, June 23rd at 6 pm.  You can support this ministry by volunteering to help, donating cash or supplies, and by inviting loads of kids!  Flyers are available starting today.  Contact Elizabeth Butler for more information.

SUMMER READING CLUB FOR WOMEN IS COMING!  Now that summer is on its way, let's kick back, relax and enjoy some books together. Our June book is Cleaning House, A Mom's Twelve Month Experiment to Rid Her Home of Youth Entitlement by Kay Wills Wyma.

We will meet on the last Sunday of the month for after church lunch and discussion.  Please sign up in the foyer if you would like to participate!

VBS UPDATE:  This year's Vacation Bible School is June 23-28 and the theme is God's Amazing Wonders.  We still need workers and you can also help by donating funds or craft and food items.  See the VBS display or contact Elizabeth Butler for more information.  Start inviting children now!

EXCITING OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES!

·         SPREAD THE WORD: Help us get the word out about our upcoming clothing outreach by distributing flyers in the church neighborhood.  We'll be going out from the church on Thursday and Friday evening, April 11th and 12th, or you can take some flyers today to distribute in your spare time.

·         OUTREACH BREAKFAST: The next Volunteer Way breakfast for the needy is Saturday, April 13th at 8:30 am at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Port Richey. Help is needed to serve, clean up, and spread the word about our clothing outreach immediately following.

·         CLOTHING OUTREACH: Only two weeks left to contribute new or lightly-used clothing for the needy and we especially need clothes for babies and children.  On Saturday, April 13^th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. we’ll serve coffee and pastries and invite our neighbors in. See Jason or Tara Anderson for information on how you can help with this great outreach opportunity.
